After a meeting of Four Freedoms Democratic Club on the east side I made it up to Harlem to the Angel of Harlem Restaurant where Let Your Voice Be Heard! Radio and New York’s Young & Powerful hosted a debate party, “The Play and Politics Debate Party”
A good time was had by all, as I saw it. I met some great people, talked about the politics of the day, including to a reporter from the UK Guardian, and had a delicious bowl of guacamole. Thomas Lopez-Pierre was alsothere and caught me along the way.

The debate was a success, particularly for Hillary Clinton supporters, among whom I count myself. I thought Martin O’Malley had a pretty good evening but he will not be the nominee by any stretch of the imagination.
At some level, Mrs. Clinton and the former Governor were the only Democrats on the stage. Senator Sanders caucuses with the Democrats but does not count himself as one. Former Senator Webb was a Democratic Senator but was also President Reagan’s Secretary of the Navy. Senator Chafee was a Republican. Ok, he says he is not one now. But the reality is there is only one Democrat standing there last night who is worthy of the nomination. despite her flaws, that is Hillary Rodham Clinton.
